Salam joined Waddell & Reed, Inc. in 2009. She provides clients with a variety of financial solutions, including retirement and investment planning, risk management, and employee benefits education. As a Financial Advisor, Salam believes that the concept of one size-fits-all has never worked nor will it ever work in the financial world. Thus, her main concern rests in working with her clients to target their unique needs and then provide them with a customized plan.
In educating her clients, Salam aims to enable them to not only identify their individual financial goals, but also take consistent action toward pursuing those goals. She makes it a priority to explain to her clients the various aspects of what it means to invest and then relate those concepts to the individual financial goals that her clients have. Valuing honesty and integrity in every client relationships, Salam combines all available resources to provide a personalized and comprehensive approach.

Salam graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business from the University of Memphis. She also earned a Masters of Business Administration from Mississippi State University. Living in Memphis, Salam serves as an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce. She also loves spending as much time as possible with her husband and three children. When she’s not hard at work or with her family, Salam enjoys cross-stitching and collecting unique items from around the world on her travels.
