Financial Advisor

Pamela joined Waddell & Reed, Inc. in 2011. As a Financial Advisor at Waddell & Reed, Pamela serves her clients by helping them both identify and prioritize their financial goals. With a focus on comprehensive financial planning and investment management, she develops detailed financial plans tailored specifically to each client’s needs.

Pamela believes that the best way she can assist her clients is by understanding their personal goals and by guiding them in taking consistent action toward pursuing their goals. Only after establishing a trusting relationship is she able to gather appropriate information and create financial strategies designed to address her clients’ concerns and desires. By coordinating with her clients’ other professional service providers, she strives to ensure her clients are well served.

As a financial advisor, Pamela knows just how important communication is to her work, and because of this, she promptly responds to client concerns and maintains open communication throughout the relationship. Having experienced many life transitions herself, Pamela provides a greater perspective when assisting clients going through their own passages of life.

Pamela received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University. She furthered her education at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. where she earned her law degree. She returned to Tennessee to begin her legal career. Nine of her 15 years with a global logistics services corporation involved working in challenging management and leadership roles, primarily in a legal capacity. Pamela ultimately left her law career to pursue her passion regarding personal finance.

Pamela has demonstrated her commitment to the personal finance profession by becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and by obtaining the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation. As a Memphis resident, Pam enjoys supporting the community’s theatre and arts programs, and in her spare time her hobbies include fitness activities and collecting old movie posters.
